Information We Collect
To provide the core functionality of Meet Easy, we collect the following types of information:
When you log in, we collect basic authentication information (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) provided by your authentication provider (e.g., Google Sign-In).
We collect your device's precise location (GPS coordinates) while the App is open and on your screen to calculate your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and display your position on the map to other users in your specific meetup room.
If you opt-in to the "Background Live Sharing" feature, we collect your precise location data even when the App is closed, minimized, or not in use.
We automatically collect diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, IP address, and crash logs) to help us maintain and improve the App.
How We Use Background Location Data
Meet Easy utilises background location tracking solely for the purpose of live coordination.
Background location allows the App to continuously update your ETA and location on the shared map for your friends, ensuring they know your status while you are driving or have your phone locked.
Background location is never enabled by default. It must be explicitly turned on by you via the "Live Background Sharing" toggle in the Coordination Hub.
Your location is only ever shared with the specific, invited users who are actively in your private Meet Easy room. Once the timer expires, you leave the room, or the room is deleted, background location sharing stops immediately.
Third-Party Services and SDKs
To operate the App, we integrate with third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These services may collect information used to identify you, process your location, or analyse app performance.
Used to render maps, search for venues, and access device location services. Google may collect location data, device identifiers, and usage data according to their privacy policy.
Used to securely log you into the App. Collects basic profile data and authentication tokens.
Used as our primary database to sync real-time data (like ETAs and room participant lists) between users.
Used to monitor app stability and user engagement. These SDKs automatically collect crash traces, device hardware details, IP addresses, and anonymous installation IDs.

How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. We only share your data in the following way:
Your name, ETA, transport mode, and live location are broadcast only to the users who possess the unique link or code to join your specific meetup room.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your location data is highly transient. We only store your current coordinates in our active database to broadcast to your room.
You can instantly delete your data from a room by tapping "Exit Room". Your location tracking stops immediately and your data is removed from the room.
When a room is deleted by the host, all associated location history, chat data, and member lists are permanently wiped from our active databases.
You may request the complete deletion of your user account and all associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email provided below.
Children's Privacy
Meet Easy is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete that information from our servers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
